About Woningsearch
Woningsearch is an independent platform that makes address and property information accessible to everyone. We combine open data from BAG, PDOK, CBS, Kadaster, and other sources into a complete address dossier for every home in the Netherlands.
Our mission
We believe that information about homes and addresses should be publicly available and free. Whether you're a buyer, seller, tenant, landlord, or just curious — Woningsearch gives you instant insight into construction year, area, WOZ value, neighborhood statistics, energy labels, and more.
100% independent. No real estate agent. Pure data.
Woningsearch is not a real estate agent and does not sell properties. We are a 100% independent data platform. All information comes directly from real Kadaster data, CBS, and other official government sources. We have no commercial ties to real estate agents, mortgage providers, or property developers. This means our data is objective, reliable, and unbiased. You pay nothing — all information is freely accessible.
Our data sources
We use only open and free data sources:
- BAG (Basisregistratie Adressen en Gebouwen) — via PDOK: all addresses in the Netherlands
- CBS Wijken en Buurten — neighborhood statistics, demographics, and livability
- Kadaster — sale prices, parcel data, and WOZ values
- RVO — energy labels for homes
- PDOK Locatieserver — geographic search functionality
⚡ Free energy label check
Woningsearch offers a free energy label check for every address in the Netherlands. Instantly view the energy label of any home, including improvement advice. With over 6 million registered energy labels, we help you compare and understand the energy performance of homes. Discover whether a property has label A++++, A, B, C, D, E, F, or G — all for free.
- Instant insight — View the energy label of any address in the Netherlands
- 6+ million labels — Largest open dataset of Dutch energy labels
- Free advice — Discover improvement options and potential subsidy opportunities
- Comparable — Compare energy labels between addresses and neighborhoods
Methodology & verification
All data is automatically retrieved weekly from official government sources. Each address page shows the original source and the date of the last update. Our estimates (market value, rental yield) are based on WOZ valuations from the Kadaster and CBS municipality data — not national averages.
